Open Source
From Hackers-IL
The open source movement is a movement aiming to create software that is freely distributable, ships with the source code, can be freely modified, can be used for any purpose by anybody, etc. Open source software is, more or less, a newer synonym to "free software", and the two terms are used interchangably among most hackers.
