  • An Open Source Kernel for a UNIX-compatible operating system developed by Linus Torvalds and a group of developers from around the world.
  • The Operating System that uses this kernel as well as the GNU utilities. (it is sometimes referred to as GNU/Linux.)
  • The community and culture surrounding the operating system.
