Freecell Solver
From Hackers-IL
troctatrno The project Shlomi Fish does not stop raving about. Or at least he didn't used to. Freecell Solver, or FCS for short, is a library and a standalone program written in ANSI C to solve boards of several Solitaire games. It is an open-source software distributed under the Public Domain.
Judging by a Google Search it is the most popular software of its sort, but of course its user niche is quite small. Shlomi believes that part of the reason is that most people believe that Freecell is simply Start->Programs->Accessories->Games->Freecell and are not aware that there's an entire culture surrounding it.
Quote of the Day
Muli Ben-Yehuda: Shlomi, I'm considering naming a corollary of Godwyn's law after you - any discussion of anything is over when you mention Freecell Solver.
Shlomi Fish: Muli, BTW, I think that any discussion only begins to gain momentum when I mention it.
