Arc
From Hackers-IL
Arc is Paul Graham's modern LISP dialect, with many useful features borrowed from Perl, Python and other agile languages. It aims to be an a LISP dialect that is actually quite useful in real-world situations, and can be used as a substitute for one of the currently popular Agile Languages.
Note that Graham announced Arc at 2001, and since then, no source code, binaries, or other proof-of-concept implementations were released. The Ideas that people have sent us page has been unmaintained for a long time. As such many people have despaired from expecting a better dialect of LISP to materialize from this venue.
